After thinking about this for quite some time I've come to a conclusion:
The founding fathers gave us a right to bear arms which was both self evident and God-given, and I concur. Being that I truly believe it is a God-given right for a human being to protect himself, I also believe that should be self-evident to people across every political isle. To oppose that view, for me, is to go against a very grain that makes me a man. Therefore I believe that if you are a responsible, contributing, concerned, and/or engaged citizen of age; it is your duty to your fellow countrymen to bear arms for all of our protections. Protecting valuables that were handed down over many generations is nothing new though the face of it sure looks different today
