After listening to yesterday's soft verbal and looking on the board post the Hurst/Dorch decommittments, I figured I would take a minute to take a look at the current roster and dispell this idea that this current staff is "winning with previous staff's players" and that they "aren't recruiting very well" - both are talking points that insinuate this staff can't get it done. This is the best staff OM has ever had assembled on campus - they are going to get it done, one way or another.

Below are the guys at each position that are on the roster as a direct result of this staff and have been big contributors or are expected to be in the near future:

QB - Matt Corral: While this staff aren't responsible for getting him to campus originally, it's an absolute FACT that they are the reason he is still here.
Luke Altmeyer: regardless of the talk about transfer QBs and such, Luke was and still is a guy that is extremely talented.

RB - Henry Parrish: is arguably our best all around RB and looks to be an absolute stud moving forward.

WR - Jahcour Pearson: this guy has been invaluable for us this season, especially given the depth issues.
Jalen Knox: while he hasn't played, he is talked about as someone who will be THE guy next year.
Bralon Brown: was spoken very highly of prior to his preseason injury and will be expected to be a guy that is a big part of the offense moving forward.
Marc Britt: the guy was a big time recruit out of HS and I think a lot of fans have either forgotten about him or have written him off but that kind of talent doesn't stay hidden forever. I look for him to be a guy that contributes soon.

TE - Hudson Wolfe: a guy that was a consensus top 5 TE in the country last year. Had a tough go of it this year because of injuries but he will be a big time asset at that position in the future.

OL - Orlando Umana: this guy has caught a ton of shit this year on the board but, bottom line, he's been a huge difference maker in the middle with his versatility and experience. Just think about where this group would be without him.
Eli Acker: it took a while for him to show up this year but man did he look good last week. Kid looks like he's going to be a stud for us moving forward.
Cedric Melton: although he hasn't played a ton this year, when he has played he's been solid. Another guy that looks to be a big cog in the wheel moving forward.

DL - Sam Williams: before you guys jump on me about Sam being a roster holdover blah blah blah, it's indisputable how much he has grown as a player this year. I think and Sam has said as much, his turn around is a direct result of this staff, in particularly Randall Joyner.
Tywone Malone: the guy is going to be a stud, he's shown that in his limited play this year.
Demarcus Smith: He's a guy that's been forgotten about to an extent because of his injury but he was a guy that was starting to get some high praise prior to that. He will be a big time piece moving forward.
Tavius Robinson: what a find by this staff last year. He's had some big moments for us over these past 2 years.
Isaiah Iton: it's been an adjustment year for him coming from JUCO but he's not your typical JC guy. He's still got 2 years left. Look for him to be big moving forward.
Jamond Gordon: same as Iton. Guy with 2 years left that will be a big time piece on the DL.

LB - Chance Campbell: no need for a description, his impact has been invaluable AND he still has another year if he chooses.
Mark Robinson: you look up diamond in the rough, this guys picture shows up. Still a credit to this staff to see his worth and coach him up to a point where he can be what his is.

DB - Jake Springer: like Chance, his impact need no explanation. Dude has been a stud and a game changer for us this year.
Otis Reese: many on this board like to shit on this guy but he was a game changer for us last year and has been very solid for us all year this year as well, even when he's played out of position.
Miles Battle: again, not a guy that this staff got to campus but is absolutely a reason he is still here and, like Mark Robinson, found the position where his talent fits him best. He's going to be DB1 for us next year and a top 2 round draft pick - book it.
Deane Leonard: another solid pickup in the portal last year from Canada. He's been as steady as they come for us the past 2 years.
Tysheem Johnson: the guy has already flashed for us this year and he's going to continue to be an absolute bulldog for us in the future. Mike Hilton 2.0. Great get.
MJ Daniels: even with all the transfer rumors swirling, he's a guy that will find a way onto the field soon for us next year (given he's still on campus). Great athlete that just needed a year for his body to mature.

ST - Caden Costa: arguably the most important signee and certainly the most impactful freshman of this previous class. Dude has been automatic essentially all season and it can't be overstated how important it is that when we do decide to kick a FG, he's come thru.
