They’re playing their arch-rival, a DIII powerhouse (UMHB), for his very last home game. They’ve come really close twice, but have not beaten them since he’s been there.
On top of that, if they win, and beat 1 of 2 crappy teams to end the season…then they’re in the DIII playoffs. If they lose, then my son is down to the last 2 organized football games of his life. So hard to believe.
I know it’s only a game, but this has been an incredible journey with my son watching him mature into a man. The value of teamwork. Making lifelong friends. Incredible memories…joyful & tearful.
I sure hope, he has more than 3 games left…because my wife, my son, and I want to enjoy this for as long as possible.
