He's had his issues (being too light on the Astros, the lockout, TV still an issue (that's not an easy fix though), ghost runners in extras), but I think overall he's done a lot of good things for the sport (multiple attempts to tackle pace of play which culminated in the pitch clock, shortened commercial breaks, got rid of the end of season roster bloat, expanded the rosters by one player, ended awful La Russa ball by implementing the 3 batter minimum, recently fixed service time manipulation, shortened the draft, universal DH). His job, ultimately, is to make the owners money and he's done that very well, but he's also in my opinion made a lot of good decisions for the game. He also has things potentially coming like automated strike zones.
He hasn't been perfect, far from it, but I think in general he's been fine.
ETA: I know that's not going to be a popular opinion here.
