From the pod today. The FA cup is the oldest bracket style sports tournament IN THE WORLD. It doesn’t just include the premier league, but every pro club in England. There are 124 clubs in total (after qualifying) but the vast majority of the time, the quarter finals and onwards is clubs in the premier league. So most of the time you will get man city vs Chelsea or another big club in an elimination style match.
