Forgive me. I am a huge fan. I grew up in west Jackson and went to the military right after graduating from Provine in 2005. I didn't know anyone who went to Ole Miss personally. Growing up in Jackson, I was lucky to even graduate high school. LOL
While in the service, I grew a connection to Ole Miss as I saw Ole Miss as the best program from my home state during my deployment years. 2008 was a tough deployment and watching that first saeson with Houston Nutt (ironically) helped me through it. Just a regular, sidewalk alumni as many would say.
Long story short, I just never found time to logistically make a game happen. By God's grace, I have a great job now (fed) and my family and I are driving down from DC and we are looking forward to it.
I have to admit, I am nervous. I have never been around a lot of Ole Miss fans. I am usually the only one wherever I go.
