Here's the thread from last week, in case you missed anything:

Note: This week, I'm going to include basketball transfer portal notes of interest here as well.

Ole Miss is entertaining Seton Hall transfer portal guard Dre Davis today, I've confirmed. Davis, a 6-foot-6, 212-pound Indianapolis native, averaged 15 points and 5.9 rebounds last season for the Pirates. He shot 49.2 percent from the field, 35 percent from the 3-point line and 84 percent from the free throw line. A year earlier, Davis shot 40.9 percent from 3. Davis scored 18 points in Seton Hall's NIT semifinal win over Georgia and then 18 points two nights later in a win over Indiana State.

Jerry Carino of Asbury Park Press wrote that Davis "was the Hall’s most consistent player, plowed through a series of injuries without missing a game, and willingly took on the task of defending power forwards even though he’s more of a natural wing.
"In the end, though he was a tri-captain with Kadary Richmond and Al-Amir Dawes, Davis emerged as the team’s primary leader after transferring in from Louisville two years ago. Also a strong student who was a finalist for the Big East’s Scholar Athlete of the Year award, he will graduate in May."

"I feel like we did something special here," Davis said of the seniors’ legacy.

Davis is a father to a 1-year-old daughter and his girlfriend Mikia Keith, also an Indianapolis native, just finished up her postgrad season as a player with Saint Peter’s women’s basketball. Davis’ younger brother, Tae Davis, played at Notre Dame this past season (averaging 9.2 points and 5.1 boards) after spending his freshman year at Seton Hall.
