Ole Miss' coaches have hit the road this week, spreading all over the Southeast and Midwest, touching base with commitments and targets.

Coaches have visited five-star RB Bo Scarbrough. The Rebels are in the mix, but Scarbrough is committed to Alabama and the Crimson Tide remains very much the leader and the prohibitive favorite.

Ole Miss coaches were in Jackson, Miss., earlier this week to visit with their commitments from Callaway High School. Coaches also visited TE Sammie Epps, who has been committed to Ole Miss for months. All of those players are solid to the Rebels.

Ole Miss coaches will be Georgia Military Academy later this week (could be as early as today; I'm not pressing for overly specific dates) to visit RB Akeem Judd and TE Ty Flournoy-Smith. Judd is committed to the Rebels, while Flournoy-Smith, a former Georgia signee, has kept his recruiting pretty quiet since he left the UGA program.

Ole Miss coaches will also see commitments Jamiyus Pittman, Markell Pack and C.J. Hampton this week. Pittman and Pack appear solid, while Alabama remains a threat for Hampton. The Rebels' coaches will also visit Louisiana targets Trey Quitt (LSU commitment), Jacory Washington (LSU commitment) and DT Garrald McDowell (leaning to Ole Miss.).

Coaches will also see CB Kendarius Webster (committed to Ole Miss), CB/S Jamal Adams (Ole Miss, Florida and LSU all are in the mix), DT Chris Williams (Ole Miss commitment). Ole Miss coaches are in Illinois visiting LB Nyles Morgan and LB Clifton Garrett. Morgan, per sources, favors Ole Miss over Notre Dame. Garrett will announce his commitment on Dec. 16. LSU is the prohibitive favorite.

Ole Miss is obviously seeking offensive line help. The Rebels haven't given up on Kareem Are and Avery Gennesy, though both appear to be headed elsewhere. Ole Miss covets Arkansas commitment Jovan Pruitt and Birmingham, Ala., product Jordan Sims. The Rebels appear to be in good shape for Sims, though Florida and Florida State are in the mix and either Alabama or Auburn could make a huge move for his services with an offer.

Ole Miss is also checking in this week on Sandy Springs, Ga., '15 junior RB Eric Swinney. He is emerging as a major target for next year.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze is checking on a lot of in-state juniors this week. I'm hearing he'll visit Brandon, Brookhaven, Petal and Murrah, to name a few schools.
