Full disclosure- I am legitimately asking this. I didn’t watch any of the game.
If you have to win the tournament to get in, why bring in your best starter in the 8th inning and burn him for the rest of the week chasing 5 outs? Why not turn to your normal bullpen guys (which have been better in SEC play than Doyle)?
