For me, and OM Rebels football, it's pretty much a no brainer: 1954 to 1963
8 seasons of 9-10 wins.
6-3 bowl record.
Final AP rankings: 6th - 10th - unranked - 7th - 11th - 2nd - 2nd - 5th - 3rd - 7th. At least one, if not two, NC rankings.
Not too shabby.
Now for my Cowboys it's a tougher deal. It's either 1970-1979 or 1991-2000.
1991-2000 had the triplets and a bunch of playoff wins and 3 SB titles but all that was from 1992-1995. 1996-2000 was mostly a big meh of mediocrity watching the triplets get older and worse as the decade moved on.
OTOH, 1970-1979 had "only" two SB wins, but 5 trips to the SB. No losing seasons and only one year without making the playoffs. Plus, we had Roger Staubach.
Really tough call, but by a hair I'll take the 1970-1979 run just for it's run of great football for the whole decade.
