Probably a hot take, but there is to much NFL football. I’ve never been more out on the NFL than this year in my life. With two weeks left the playoff picture is largely decided, in both conferences. The football played recently has been awful, I watched till half time on Christmas Day of both games, before I turned it off. Same for the chargers-pats game today.
another hot take, 14 playoff teams is to many. The nfl had the PERFECT model 16 games, 12 playoff games, and they completely ruined it.
I think this is part of the reason why offenses have been so terrible this year, a lot of blow outs, and the games just feel off.
Ratings will stay high for a few years, but I think eventually fans will catch on to my point and ratings will take a hit.
