I got bored and looked at our recruiting averages for the roster and by position to see what our blue chip rating looked like for this year. If the player signed with Ole Miss out of high school, I used their high school composite rating. If they are a transfer, I used their transfer composite rating. I only included my best guess at scholarship players, which amounted to 84 guys. I also looked at average rating by position group. For reference, Ole Miss blue chip % last year was 28% and 23% in 2021. This team is often comped to last year's florida state team and the star breakdown is almost identical.
