I follow a pretty national (OEP sort of qualifies) college football podcast rotation. They’re all starting they’re 2024 previews.
After some contemplation I have two teams I think are way overhyped:
1. LSU
Lost a Heisman trophy winning QB, two NFL receivers and return a bad defense. Kelly isn’t all that and a bag of chips, I don’t think he fits in Baton Rouge.
2. Texas
Welcome to the SEC. They have lots of talent and their 2024 SEC slate isn’t the toughest, but they’re not in the BIG12 anymore - I think they’re going to drop a couple.
3. Michigan
Lost head coach, lost QB, lost a bunch of seniors. Do they have the depth to pull off another national title run?
Thoughts? Think any other teams are overhyped?
