I don't like your chances.
Jeffery, I thought of the WAOM comparison beforehand which partly why I asked about embracing a derogatory term. To me the the WAOM was more a self deprecating term from Ole Miss fans (thus the administration trying to use the same term for internal change among attitude and expectations of Ole Miss supporters) rather than as you or Neal put it the "sarcastic" name of Starkvegas used mainly by nonMSU fans to exemplify the difference between a premier tourist destination like Las Vegas and a sleepy nondescript rural town in Mississippi.
I will be submitting a proposal to addidas for MSU's Veteran's Day Uniforms. I'm thinking Mossy Oak Camo (their third school color) and a
" Hitting Bombs Over Starkghanistan" logo
Maybe you work a GTHTSUN into the bark pattern, subtly of course
