I think our guys have had this game circled for a year--naturally because of the circumstances of how we lost to them last year..

The O-line will play better because of Tunsil...we get to bookend the line with two quality tackles. Patterson's dealing with an ankle sprain, but he's an uber talented true freshman guard. Center and right guard are the weak spots... It would be a huge plus if Justin Bell, as big as he is, established himself at center. If we can get some halfway decent play at right guard, we're going to be in the chips..

The Auburn game is at 11am...There's something funky about playing 11 am games. We need to benefit from that late morning funkiness...

The play calling wasn't too much of an issue.. The Rebs got stuffed on some runs up the middle, but then they also made a lot of runs up the middle... Same with running wide...some got stuffed, while others were good gains.

Kelly did make two bad throws on two INTs..One of them he tried to thread through three needles, but couldn't do it.. The second one he threw downfield instead of to the open receiver crossing the field. Garrett made a good play on that INT he had... tipping the ball up, then catching it.

Breeland Speaks really asserted himself last night.. We may see Speaks and Big Rob on the field at the same time next week. That Big Rob-Austin Golson match should be classic.. If they double team Big Rob, then Speaks has just one man to beat.. We could expect some very physical D-line play next Sat..

The thing about the remaining schedule is that it's favorable to us.. We want redemption for the Auburn game last year..it is a road game though, but an 11am game..

We certainly want redemption for the Upig game...we get that game at Oxford...

Then there's the open date before playing LSU at home...another chance to revenge a loss from last year...

Then it all boils down to the Egg Bowl.. The nice thing is that both LSU and MSU have to play Bama before they play us.. Good chance both LSU and MSU will take physical beatings.. I commented last night that TAMU appeared to be showing residual signs of the beating they took from Bama last week--certainly QB Allen did..

Bottom line, we're four wins away from the SEC West title and a trip to Atlanta. We've got a lot of incentive/revenge motivation in our favor.

We're going to do it....
