won't make Freeze fire anyone.
I know the usual suspects:
Luke
Batoon
Nix
I get it. And, honestly, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep should any changes take place.
Hell, we just lost to Memphis. How much more deflating can it get?
It's apparent to me that Freeze needs to juggle whatever he has to juggle to get a true offensive coordinator on staff. Name the formations the same thing that Freeze calls them. Run the same offense. Whatever.
But, Freeze does not need to be calling plays. He's irrational in the heat of battle.
Hindsight is 20/10 and all that. I get it. We all love the 4th & Xs we get. We all know deep down that we needed points the first time and we needed to punt it the second time. The risk/reward wasn't there. There was a lot of game left.
He needs someone calling plays. I think we kick a field goal and I think we punt the ball right before half if he were making "Head Coach" decisions as opposed to "This is MY offense" decisions.
It's too predictable when we get a lead and he goes "stubborn." Hand off to #6 on first. Play action for 7 yards to a boundary on 2&12. Every "drive" has to overcome a huge number of 3&s.
Just my 2 cents. Fire away.
