The more and more I look at these CFP projections I'm starting to think the SEC could have all final four teams.
Big XII, ACC, G5 - one team each
SEC - 6
B1G - 3
I think which ever SEC teams get seeds 5 & 6 will likely be able to beat the ACC and Big XII champions in the 5 v 4 (probably vs Utah in Fiesta Bowl) and 6 v 3 (probably vs Miami in the Peach Bowl) games.
So whichever team gets the 7 or 10 seed would have to beat likely Ohio State (probably in the Rose Bowl) to get to the Final Four. I think Tennessee, Bama, or Ole Miss could beat the Buckeyes.
Based on the current AP Top 25 poll here's how the CFP would shakeout:
Oregon @ Ole Miss (winner gets Texas in Sugar Bowl)
Boise @ UGA (winner gets Utah in Fiesta Bowl)
Penn State @ Tenn. (winner gets Ohio State in Rose Bowl)
Mizzou @ Bama (winner gets Miami in Peach Bowl)
Then you'd get:
Ole Miss or Texas v UGA or Utah in probably the Cotton Bowl
PSU/Tenn/Ohio State v Bama/Mizzou/Miami in the Orange Bowl
Winners meet in Atlanta
