Bored on a rainy Tuesday, I decided to pull up some team stats after 3 weeks. It's...........not great.

Ole Miss Hitting Ranks-
Batting average- DFL (.262)
OPS- 10th (.913)
Home runs- 5th (22)
Walks- 1st (107)
Strikeouts- 4th most (99)
Stolen Bases- 6th (15)
Sac Flies- 1st (16)
Sac bunts- 7th (2)
GIDP- 3rd (9)

Ole Miss Pitching Ranks-
ERA- 10th (4.54)
Opposing BA- 12th (.240)
Strikeouts- 4th best (135)
Walks- DFL (70) by a long shot. 16 more than the next closest team
Wild Pitches- 2nd most (15)
Balks- 1st (2)
Hit batters- 3rd most (16)
Intentional walks- 1st (3)

Ole Miss Fielding Ranks-
Fielding %- 13th (.967)
Errors- 1st (15)
Double Plays- 4th (7)
Stolen Bases Against- 5th (10)
Caught Stealing- DFL (0)
Passed balls- DFL (4)

The biggest takeaway there for me is the insane amount of free bases we are allowing. Leading the league in walks, IBB, errors, balks, passed balls, steal % and then at the top in wild pitches and hit batters is pretty terrible. I have no idea what to expect out of the offense when we face pitchers that actually throw strikes.
