There is nothing that feels remotely comfortable about this game and Townsend can't throw strikes consistently. Two homers and it is 3-0! The way we struggle at the plate and can't shut down teams, down three runs seems like a mighty tough hill to climb. We definitely aren't a hitting machine like Murray State.
And so it begans! Walk and then homer and we are in the hole right off the bat and Townsend is shaky.
