I have a doctor's appointment in Shreveport near the Willis-Knighton Hospital on Greenwood Rd. Since it is an early morning appointment and I live 3-4 hours away, I was thinking about going over the afternoon before my appointment and spending the night somewhere. Does anyone on the board have any suggestions about a good and safe place I could spent the night that would be pretty close to the hospital. I know nothing about Shreveport but on my first doctor visit, it seemed like a pretty run down area and close to the football stadium where the Independence Bowl is played. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
