We had our son’s appointment with neurosurgery and plastics at Lebonheur this morning. They confirmed he has saggital craniosynostosis (premature skull fusion). Basically his head grows front to back instead of round because the skull is not open for brain growth at the sides. He will have surgery August 7th where they will restructure the suture that fused early. He will have to wear a little helmet for a year so it can release pressure on his growing brain and reshape his skull. My wife and I are nervous and anxious but we believe God will watch over our boy and the surgeons. I just ask you keep us in your prayers as we get ready for this. Thank y’all
