Just a lot of words with no information...

Until I see the details .... you ain't got nothing..

You apparently didn't click the link. Let me help explain it to you:

We were told by Ole Miss fans that two things were true of the Ole Miss NOA:

1 - That it mostly involved the women's basketball team

2 - Of the FEW allegations involving the football program, almost all were regarding Houston Nutt's tenure at Ole Miss.

According to the AP story, the facts are quite different:

1 - 13 of the 28 allegations involve the football program. Almost half.

2 - Of the 13 allegations involving the football program, 9 of them involve Freeze. That's almost 70%.

Additionally, this explains why Houston Nutt hasn't received a letter from the NCAA, because most of the allegations involve Freeze, not him.

This also explains why Ole Miss has been reluctant to make the NOA public until they are forced to. Because they don't want anyone knowing what those 9 allegations are that involve the CURRENT coaching staff.

Finally, the story explains that some of the allegations are Level 1, which the NCAA considers to be the most serious.

Yall might want to start taking this seriously.

Here you go,

13 involving football, according to ESPN, broken down as follows:

* 4 involving Nutt staff
* 4 involving Freeze staff, all of which were self-reported
* 5 involving Tunsil (staff not implicated), already disclosed and punished

The 4 involving Freeze staff are further broken down as follows:
--> 1 violation of rule barring coaches from contact with a recruit during designated non-contact period
--> 1 improper recruiting video made outside locker room
--> A person NCAA considers a booster transporting a recruit to campus
--> A stepfather of a recruit having lodging paid for during an official visit (a rule that has since been changed by the NCAA, for obvious common-sense reasons I imagine)

"Ole Miss has 90 days to respond to the notice of allegations. School officials and legal counsel have not released the notice because they believe the documents should remain confidential while the investigation continues."

That makes zero sense since the ESPN article just told you what was there.

The longer Ole Miss keeps hiding something, the more it looks like they have something to hide...

You are under the assumption that the university actually cares what you, me or any other fan on a message boards thinks. Outside of the 10% that pays close attention to all this crap no one cares lol. Majority of fans who attend games couldn't name 10 players signed and don't know what the date of national signing day is. The big money boosters care and know, but the average joe like us that makes up the few fanatics won't know for sure but it doesn't make much difference.

It's not about the fans at all, it's all about the recruits. Right now is when top recruits are starting to attend Junior Days and seriously look at colleges. And with this NCAA investigation hanging over Ole Miss (an investigation the school refuses to talk about) a lot of recruits are going to eliminate Ole Miss because they aren't sure what the scope of the investigation is, but they ARE sure that Ole Miss is hiding something.

Because they are. And it's going to continue to hurt the 2017 class the longer they let it drag out.

Except as of now it's not really hurting them. Also why do you care? You should be happy if it hurts Ole Miss. Maybe you are hoping it hurts Ole Miss. Either way, Ole Miss will continue to be Ole Miss and whether they get the death penalty or a slap on the wrist i'm pretty sure our day to day lives won't be changed one bit lol

What in the world are you basing that on? LMAO!

2017 commits:

Alabama - 8
Kentucky - 7
Miss State - 6
aubarn - 3
Florida - 3
Georgia - 3
Texas A&M -3
Ole Miss - 2
Arkansas - 1
LSU - 1
Missouri - 1
South Carolina - 1
Vandy - 1
Tennessee - 0

Ole Miss is 8th in the SEC in number of commits for the 2017 class, and the only commit you've gotten in this class since it was announced that Ole Miss received NOA is so bad that he doesn't even have a ranking.

But you think this isn't hurting Ole Miss recruiting? LMAO! Ok then....

You couldn't have posted a more meaningless list.

Look out LSU! Kentucky has 6 more commits than you do.

And don't forget we usually grab a couple from Bama after we beat them each year so you could say Bama only has 6 and we have 4 since 2 of theirs are ours.
