I’m the best man in my friends wedding, I’m at the airport heading to Vegas for the bachelor party right now. About 4 years ago, one of the bachelors (let’s just call him Alex,) hooked up with another bachelors (he’s Tommy) girlfriend (she’s Sarah,) of like 5 years. Alex and Tommy had been best friends for years. Tommy and Sarah had been dating since high school, learned afterward he was even going to propose after they both graduated, in a few months.
Alex and Sarah are no longer together, haven’t been together for about 3 years. But they were hooking up for about a year before we told Tommy about them.
Now here’s where this gets even more interesting, neither one knows the other is invited. The groom purposely came up with this idea, for 2 reasons:
A: they’re 2 of his closest friends and he wants both there, and didn’t think they would come had they known.
B: if it all spirals out of control, it will at least be entertaining.
So questions RG: if you were Tommy, would you still be mad at Alex, 4 years later?
if you were still mad, would that prevent you from going to a bachelor party with him?
idk if this matters, but I’ll add we’ll be in Vegas until Sunday afternoon, and have a suite with 4 separate bedrooms, so you wouldn’t have to share a room with him.
