First, our women’s teams came from behind to win the Illini Women’s Invitational at Medina posting a three-round score of -30 beating Houston by three strokes along with 13 other teams, including top ten ranked UCLA and Auburn.
And our men’s team really had a week, winning the Hamptons Intercollegiate by 20 strokes over a field that included top ten ranked Florida State and UVA. Michael La Sasso won individual honors with a 15-under par effort that bested the field by 11 strokes. Our top 4 players all finished in the top six individually.
