and how that is possibly comparable to Tunsil's? Did Georgia self-report?

If so, the NCAA states Georgia requested reinstatment on 10/22 and received a resolution of a 4 game suspension within 1 week because all information requested was handed over.

So, have we self-reported a minor incident? It appears so. Have we requested a reinstatement (whatever that is)? It appears we have not been advised to sit Tunsil so maybe it is not needed. Does that mean the delay is that NCAA is requesting info that we are not turning over or interviewees are not cooperating? My point is that it seems we could get a quick resolution from the NCAA if we really wanted it...so something else is happening.

Next question, Gurley played the first part of the season, right? until the incident was self-reported and a reinstatement requested, right? Georgia did not have to forfeit those games he played so why are we worried that we would have to forfeit games Tunsil would play before the NCAA advised us to sit him and request reinstatement. Can someone just explain how this differs from Gurley or just how the investigation process works? I thought the NCAA had to send an official letter informing the University and public of investigation.

also, how is Tunsil's situation different from Hampton? He received a benefit and we self-reported and suspended him one game and now he is good to go. Did the NCAA tell us he should be suspended 1 game or did we decide that? If we decided that, why are we holding back Tunsil?

Sorry for all the questions but I feel like their are some answers that can be found if we compare the situations....possibly.
