Chad Kelly, Ole Miss quarterback signee from East Mississippi
Community College, plead guilty to disorderly conduct and accepted a
plea deal. He will be flying down to Oxford, Mississippi by tomorrow or
Wednesday.
JUCO

this afternoon for a hearing on the incident at a Buffalo nightclub
last month.
Kelly
was involved in a dispute between the club's bouncers and his friend
who was ejected earlier that night. He was eventually arrested
post-brawl. During the arrest he made alleged threats of retrieving an
AK-47 from his truck. He faced a number of charges, all misdemeanors.
Today he was offered a plea deal by the Buffalo City Court judge.
He
then plead guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to community
service. He also has to apologize to Buffalo City police department. His
community service can be completed at University of Mississippi. His
lawyer expects that Kelly will be able to keep his scholarship.
Local Buffalo news station WVIB reporter Lou Raguse tweeted details of the court appearance.
