The Pete Rose doc on HBO Max is pretty good, but I wish they had pointed out one thing when discussing the Ray Fosse collision. Ray was from my hometown of Marion, Ill., and everyone in our town hated Pete because while not ending Ray's career, he was never completely the same after the home plate collision. But, everyone loved the irony that when sent to prison, Rose was sent to Marion Federal.
