Are there any other Freshmen pitchers who we can turn to other than Stokes? I understand he has a role and hopefully will keep improving, but our pitching depth is looking iffy to me. We usually have multiple FR arms we can use, but I don't remember any others throwing much so far.
Wags and Anderson are going to have much larger roles for sure, but it looks like we are using only about 6 or 7 arms now and I am not sure that Weathersby and Short can do all the bullpen work for mid week and weekend.
As for hitting, we simply aren't going to have much success with the K numbers we are throwing up and I don't see many options to turn to.
It is early, but this team has a bunch of holes and I don't see a lot of help in the dugout.
