From the podcast I liked his observation on the relationship between a strong defensive and how aggressive we should be on offense. I believe Chase described it as take some chances and let the defense bail you out if necessary. I'm not even sure he was fully advocating it versus describing an alternative - but I liked it.
I agree we should be more aggressive on offense. We will lose the advantage of the strong defense if we keep pushing them on the field with 3 and outs. Also conservative play calling could lead to a lot of 3rd and longs if we try traditional run plays on early downs. I believe we need to put some pressure on defenses and be less predictable even if we increase the risk level somewhat.
I believe Freeze will figure this out. I'm not sure this will dictate one QB over the other. Perhaps it favors Kelly a little.
