They were merely pointing out that when you have a successful coach, other schools may call, which is true. Nothing more.
freeze is already in the top 10 of highest paid coaches in the country.
in between their love for Dak, they needed to fill air time so they decided to throw out freeze's name for the LSU job..

Mullen was in the process of being skull dragged in his own house, by Freeze. It would have been comical to suggest that Mullethead should replace Miles at LSU. That would be my explanation.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall that they did in the same sentence, or at least Mullen could be moving on. I hope he stays. It's fun listening to his delusional BS statements!
My impression and opinion is that Ole Miss has its perfect coach and Freeze thinks that Ole Miss is perfect for him. I don't think Freeze is the type to chase money. He is well paid. He coaches in the most competitive conference in America and having success. I would be shocked if he were to leave for a bigger salary. Its just not him. He has, from what I see, the total package for the lifestyle he wants for himself and his family. Where could he go that would be better?
I don't think he leaves either. The one thing that would persuade him is if, and it's a big IF, the NFL came calling. That is the next logical step in high level college coaches career. No one in the Rebel Nation could blame him for taking a NFL job if they come calling.
Those ESPN announcers were the worst I have ever heard. They kissed Dak Prescott's and State's butt the entire game and made that ridiculous comment about LSU going after Freeze if Les Miles left.
