It ain't so. It was just some idiots trying to fill air time. The announcers of the Ole Miss/MSU game mentioned the possibility. Please say it ain't so!
Thank you. Started to get a little concerned.
Right, well, money talks too. They were merely pointing out that when you have a successful coach, other schools may call, which is true. Nothing more.
Wonder why they didn't suggest Mullen for the job, instead of Freeze?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall that they did in the same sentence, or at least Mullen could be moving on. I hope he stays. It's fun listening to his delusional BS statements!Wonder why they didn't suggest Mullen for the job, instead of Freeze?
My impression and opinion is that Ole Miss has its perfect coach and Freeze thinks that Ole Miss is perfect for him. I don't think Freeze is the type to chase money. He is well paid. He coaches in the most competitive conference in America and having success. I would be shocked if he were to leave for a bigger salary. Its just not him. He has, from what I see, the total package for the lifestyle he wants for himself and his family. Where could he go that would be better?
