I am under the impression that it was 1 year ban not 2 but I'm going from recollection. If so, why bother offering unless he's eligible. Anyone recall any other coach being banned like this?

New head ball coach at Liberty University in Lynchburg VA. 45,000+ enrollment and growing rapidly. In a state with no true football power. Perfect fit.

The TN Board of Trustees is not 100% in favor of hiring Freeze at UT. Most likely he will not get the OC job at UT.
