It wasn't that long ago that Coach Freeze took over a team that had lost 10 ball games the previous year and had gone winless in the SEC. Now, we are UNDEFEATED and ranked top 5 nationally in both polls coming off back-to-back wins over Alabama. Yesterday was a tough game - but we still won. If you are one of the very small handful of people who constantly complains about the coaching staff then please go away as your complaining is doing nothing to help the program and is very obviously idiotic given the circumstances.

1. With the exception of last year, Vandy always plays us tough. For whatever reason they come into this game and think they are going to win it. If you watch any other game Vandy plays they don't seem to want it as bad.
2. Vandy also played UGA pretty close to what they played us. Mason may not have the record to prove it, but this year VU is a much improved football team. With all our loses to the NFL next year and this game being in Nashville, well, let's just say it will be a difficult haul for us.
3. After the Bama game we were dinged up and emotionally spent, yet still pulled out a win. It bites that we don't get a breather until late in the season.
In conclusion it must be said that there is a ton of football left to play. Just hold on and enjoy the ride.

This was probably the best thing that could have happened to our team. You have to have a wake up call at some point in the season. Maybe this let down (even though it was a win) shows them they need to focus more and prepare better going into a much improved Florida team. Also they were probably looking ahead to this weekend anyway. Take a moment to step back and think about this, we came out flat, lost the turnover battle, or nation leading qb wasn't sharp and only completed about half his passes, our receivers looked lethargic to an extent, and we still won by 11.
