What is stopping a court from challenging the 3 year NFL Draft rule, or the 1 and done NBA rule, or the weird way in which MLB does it if a player goes to college instead of the draft out of HS?
It seems like those rules are also hurting a player’s earning potential the same way the multi transfer rule has been said to do so. It’s been a minute but didn’t Maurice Clarette challenge the NFL rule when he got kicked out of tOSU? I would assume these pro league eligibility rules are protected by the CBA’s maybe?
The note that Judkins isn’t allowed to enter the draft until 2025 made me think of this. Just figured this might lead to a good debate as we approach 24 hrs until kickoff.
