Keith mentioned on the podcast today that the baseball numbers are higher than they would like at this point.

He didn't tell me this, but I'm hearing elsewhere -- and Neal heard similar -- that as of this week there are/were nine players in some level of quarantine for either COVID-19 or because of contact tracing related to a COVID-19 positive or expected positive.

If a player is positive or expected to potentially be a positive, it's a 14-day quarantine. If it's a contact trace, the player has a 10-day quarantine. The players upon arrival to campus undergo COVID-19 and antibody tests. All the newcomers did that the past couple days.

There's been some carelessness. I don't sense any major worry, but the carelessness is a problem. Good gosh I bet 5 lit into anyone who broke protocol.
