For those that live in the area, go check out Dallas Gamble, wr/rb/qb/safety for booneville (3a). He's only a freshman...6' 190...fastest kid I've seen in 3a. He can really run with the ball, has a superior first cut and his acceleration to top speed is off the charts. Now, it's 3a ms football...so think feast or famine as far as competition goes, but Gamble is a game changer...in 9th grade. He starts for Booneville HS. Booneville has a great coaching staff headed by coach maddox. They are a fun team to watch...run a shotgun power running attack with a few passes mixed in (they use a lot of wr sweeps to add a different dimension to their run game.) If any of you have time next friday, booneville squares off against kossuth for the division championship. Both teams play some good football. There are several good underclassmen on the roster. Another solid athlete, although he's a senior, is kobe saylors. He has a lot of upside...could be a real solid mlb/olb at the sec level...he also plays hb and tight end, really well put together athlete. Don't know his 40 time but he moves very well. I know kossuth has some players...looking forward to that matchup.
