DC/Virginia Rebs

Any of y'all live in Virginia near DC? I just accepted a job in Fairfax and I'm about to be looking for a place to live down there. I want to be on the DC side of Fairfax so I'm going the opposite direction from the bulk of the traffic. Any recommendations? It's an entry-level position as a structural engineer.
