Obviously Max will win his 3rd straight world title. Checo will be P2 and all is happy at Milton Keynes.
The remaining interest in this season lies in the Formula 1.5/midfield teams.
Mercedes is fine.
Aston Martin has to have a serious discussion about Lance Stroll. He’s not awful, but he’s had his chance and he’s inconsistent at best. I’d love for them to lock in Carlos Sainz…
Ferrari: see above. I think Sainz wants out of the clown show. Pairing him with Alonso would be outstanding.
Alpine: who freaking knows. Terrible move in canning Otmar, but Otmar has opinions and he’s not French. I think we might be seeing them tumble down the list in the next few seasons; Gasly has lost his 2021 form and freaking Ocon.. he has dirt on someone because he’s had every chance in the world and been inconsistent and average.
McLaren: horrible start but indications of progress being made. Piastri is the real deal. Lando is all in.
Williams: it’s going to be hard for them to keep Albon. They will keep improving.
Alfa Romeo, AT and Haas might as well be anonymous.
