Go to Astoria Elliot Hotel and there are 3-4 great eating places walking distance. (forgot 10 years ago) South to Seaside, Depoe Bay, and Newport are great. I ask at the desk to get best reastaurants as they come and go. Great crab sandwich south of Newport bridge (seaside) looks like a dump but awesome Dungeness.
