Florida doesn't appear to be doing much better with Jim McElwain. They are down to two quarterbacks and they don't seem to fit what McElwain did at Colorado State. They've also had some talent leave to the NFL off of a mediocre team. I get that the offense should be better (it has nowhere to go but up) They do have some good players such as Kelvin Taylor and Demarcus Robinson but will the defense take a step back without Muschamp coaching the defense?
They have also closed the 2015 recruiting class poorly and don't have a good start to the 2016 class.
Will McElwain be a good coach or is he just thriving from the success of being Alabama's OC and then having an NFL quarterback at Colorado State?
