Freaking texting and driving. Pisses me off when I see it going to and from work every day. Men, women, teenagers, women with kids in the car, you name it. I can honestly say with God as my witness I don't text and drive. I barely answer my phone. When will we as a society stop leveraging a human life to send a text or look at Facebook, Twitter, etc. I wish I could change the joke of a law that is a $25 ticket for texting and driving.
If I could send in a petition to the state I would want these changes:
1) first offense for texting and driving is $1,000 fine
2) second offense is 90 day suspension of license
3) third offense is felony driving with the intent to kill and 6 months jail (all 3 must happen within 3 years for 3rd punishment to take place)
