This may have already been discussed here, I don't know, but this was recently posted on the Main Board by a member of the Longhorns homeboard and several posters got bilked for a decent amount of change. Just thought you guys should know. I know you guys are smarter than this, but I wanted to make sure everybody was aware that these people exist.
Some poster, who claims to be a female, has provided pics etc but is probably the equivalent of Manti Teo's girlfriend, has been posting a lot lately out of nowhere on the ol' homeboard. Not surprisingly, several mouth breathers who's most exciting activity of the week is to talk to an MB 4 on the internet really took a liking to her. Well, turns out she PM'd all of them some sob stories about how she's in bad financial times right now etc and a link to send her money, and apparently scammed them out of a few thousand bucks collectively and is nowhere to be found.
This, predictably, has cause quite the outrage in homeboard rainbow land tonight. Tip of the cap to him/her for recognizing who she was dealing with and how easy it'd be.
