Agreed. Even if we somehow manage to come back and win this debacle, it's becoming clear that he's not SEC head coach material. If he was, he would at the very least gotten rid of Luke by now. And his play calling is beyond pathetic.
A good coach realizes his weaknesses and does something about them....such as getting a new offensive line coach and building a running game.....Freeze has done neither in three and a half years.....instead he gets our best defensive player hurt with some bullshit short yardage package.

Are we even able to fire Matt Luke even if we wanted?? His family is so embedded in Olemiss I'm not sure we can just get rid of him without blowing up the whole damn staff...
I think he is just a $300,000/yr mistake we are going to have to work with until it all goes down in a hail of glory one day...
If M. Luke really loves OM, he should do what is best for the program (a la Steve Spurrier) and resign immediately. Let Batoon finish season as OL coach. Couldn't do worse!

In all my years of watching football, at all levels, I've never seen an O Line that can't get any surge off the line of scrimmage. That is until the last couple of seasons. Even Nutt's, O's, and Cutt's lines were more serviceable.
