I'm hoping to hear from Middle Tennessee transfer portal LB Chaton Mobley at some point today. My understanding is he arrived on Wednesday for his official visit. I believe Ole Miss is trying to convince Mobley to walk on at Ole Miss this fall. Linebacker remains an area of concern for the Rebels, per sources.

Mississippi State transfer portal quarterback Jack Abraham, an Oxford native, is visiting Maryland. The Terrapins have offered him a scholarship. Ole Miss' quarterback situation is unlikely to be settled this spring, and my guess is that leads Abraham elsewhere, but that's a guess.
Mississippi Gulf Coast CC QB Phillip Short is visiting this weekend. The former MRA star, per sources, could walk on at Ole Miss in the summer and provide some depth in the quarterback room.
