Fundamental football is missing on this team right now. There is nothing as simple as lower your pad level, take the guy in front of you and drive him off the line of scrimmage yet this OL can't accomplish that. We have linebackers that couldn't tackle a tailback that runs a 6.5 forty, instead they were diving at his ankles. And we have defensive backs that are playing scared to death. No aggressiveness at all. Even worse I couldn't find more than five or six players that even acted like they cared to win the game ( thank you Treadwell, Kelly, and Speaks).
Much of that falls on the shoulders of your assistant coaches. Changes will need to be made at years end or sooner. The team looks lethargic and I think that much of that is a result of players that don't believe in or trust their position coaches.
