The Ole Miss staff has been on the road for the basketball recruiting evaluation period. They'll be back out for another week or so before the period ends.

The emphasis for the Rebels, who will 4-5 available spots (my guess is five) is on bigs. Here's a rundown of targets, in no particular order.

The Rebels already have one commitment from Tyrek Coger, a 6-9, 240-pounder from Cape Fear (N.C) Community College. Coger starred at the recently completed All-American JUCO Showcase. He should step in and compete for playing time immediately.

The Rebels appear to be in the top three for 6-9 forward Romello White. The Suwanee, Ga., is looking hard at Ole Miss, Kansas State and SMU.

James Banks, a 6-10 center from Mt. Vernon Christian School in Georgia, is ranked No. 79 nationally. He has 27 offers, including six from SEC schools.

Kilgore (Texas) College center Alassane Kah averaged 8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game last season. Kah originally signed with Western Kentucky before going the junior college route.

Maciej Bender is a 6-10 center from Mountain Mission School in West Virginia.

Jordan Brunner suffered a knee injury last season, the 6-7 forward is ranked No. 107 nationally. He has offers from Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and others.

Martins Igbamu is 6-8 center from Covenant Christian Ministries Academy in Georgia.

Justas Furmanavicius is a 6-7 honorable mention Junior College All-American from Three Rivers Junior College. Furmanavicius averaged 11 points and 2.8 rebounds per game last season.

Karlis Silins is a 6-11 center from VEF Skola in Latvia. Silins turned 18 on Jan. 1.

Darrlyn Willis is a 6-8 forward from Pearl River (Miss.) Community College. He's originally from Milwaukee.

Jaylen Barford is a 6-3 guard from Motlow Community College. The Jackson, Tenn., product recently visited Xavier. He has offers from Auburn, Alabama, Cincinnati, Missouri, Texas Tech and others. He averaged 20.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game last season.

Donovan Jackson is a 6-1 guard from Iowa Western Community College. The Milwaukee native averaged 13.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game last season.

Kamar Baldwin is a 6-2 guard from Winder, Ga. He's ranked No. 133 nationally by Rivals.com. Baldwin has offers from Georgia Tech, Providence, Virginia Commonwealth and others, though Ole Miss, Butler and Clemson appear to be the favorites at this point.

Breein Tyree is a 6-2 guard from Metuchen, N.J. Tyree has 18 offers, including Kansas State, Northwestern, Rutgers, USC and Virginia Tech.

Tobias Howard is a 6-foot guard from Suwanee, Ga., who will play this season at West Oaks (Fla.) Academy. Iowa State appears to be the team to watch at this point, though Ole Miss offered Monday.

Jimario Rivers is a 6-8 guard/forward from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Rivers averaged 10.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

Micah Thomas is a 6-8 guard/forward from Eads (Briarcrest), Tenn. He's ranked No. 100 nationally by Rivals.com. He's got offers from multiple programs, including Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida, Iowa State, Memphis and Tennessee.

Charlie Moore is a 6-foot point guard from Chicago (Morgan Park). Moore is ranked No. 131 nationally. He has 13 offers, including Ole Miss, California, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Memphis, Pittsburgh, St. John's and Virginia Commonwealth.

Jordan Bone is a 6-3 guard from Nashville (Ensworth), Tenn. Tennessee appears to lead Ole Miss, Iowa State, Western Kentucky and others for Bone.

All of the above listed players do not have offers from Ole Miss but are definite targets. The Rebels are working to get all of their main targets on campus for visits in August, September and October.
