I don't know, but my guess is that it was once, and that time is now.
A big thank you to Coach Mallow and the men's golf team for ending the season as the #1 team in the nation. Jumping from #3 to #1 on the final weekend by an incredible performance at the Old Waverly. Finishing 36 strokes ahead of Bama at #15 in the country, finishing second in the tournament was incredible.
Note: I realize we need to win the SEC to keep our #1 Seed in the NCAA tournament. However, as all conferences start their tournaments, the Rebs are ranked #1 in the country in the NCAA ranking that really matters.
