Neal got the first tip on this yesterday and alerted me. I confirmed it with multiple people late last night. I requested confirmation/comment from Ole Miss around 5:30 p.m. yesterday and they haven't responded yet. They practiced last night in Columbia.
I'm told Keith Meister out of Texas performed the surgery, but I'd like a little better confirmation on that, so I didn't include it in the story.
