Neal claiming how easy it would be to name a new mascot and market it is true but not by making it any of the things he suggested. There’s only ONE common sense choice and that’s bringing back Col Reb without the confederate uniform. That’s the only mascot anyone will ever truly accept and ever associate with OM. (And I’ve got news for we’re not close to the age of “disappearing”) 90% of the fan base never wanted him removed and at least that many would welcome it back. It never cost us a single recruit but was an easy scapegoat when we lost one for a myriad of other reasons. You can argue otherwise all you want but you’d be wrong. Anyone against it you just tell as cordially as possible to F*** off bc they’re fake feelings don’t matter and they likely hate OM anyway. Problem solved.
