I am not suggesting that Freeze was an alcoholic but he certainly portrayed himself as an abstainer of alcoholic beverages on several occasions. I don't know if he had a long history of drinking or if he took it up because of recent events but Freeze certainly doesn't seem to be the Choir Boy and Ordained Baptist Preacher that he seemed to portray. I must admit that I still like Freeze but after all the negative press, I, for one, am glad that he is gone. I am surprised that most of the Oxford people seemed to know about this, especially those close to the program, but to most of us who live elsewhere it came as a surprise, at least to me.
I didn't realize that Freeze was such a heavy consumer of alcohol
