If what I heard today about what is in question by the NCAA is actually true, then this whole affair is a joke. Full disclosure, I'm not connected like MOB, Milton, or some others on this board; I'm only hearing this through other people who are more "in the know" than I am. That said, if what I was told today is actually all there is to this, then it's ridiculous that he's been held out at all, and our compliance guys are scared of their own shadow. The NCAA has no subpoena power whatsoever, and yet we're bending over backwards and cooperating with them on something that's a secondary violation...at best. It's like we've got Gerald Turner in the Lyceum trying to sell us out to the NCAA all over again. Ridiculous.
